Shave against the direction of hair growth in short, controlled strokes. Hold the razor perpendicularly to the surface that's being shaved & adjust angle accordingly. Use your free hand to stretch the skin for a closer shave/ Alter the length and direction of the stroke. Apply a bit of pressure if needed.
